Directly from the Young Living website: "Copaiba is used to aid digestion and support the body's natural response
to injury or irritation. Copaiba contains the highest amounts of beta
caryophyllene of any known essential oil." Our experience has been exactly that! We apply a drop of Copaiba to her gums when she first shows signs of discomfort, and we notice she doesn't seem nearly as cranky or chewy after. When she sees the bottle now, she reaches for it. We do still have the over the counter options our pediatrician recommended in the event our oil approach doesn't work and her discomfort interferes with her day, but so far we haven't had to touch them. Our pediatrician is happy with the changes we have made, and so are we.
